Batchelor & Kimball constructed this large four story Clinical Services addition to the existing hospital including five labor and delivery suites and two C-section Rooms. Also, the existing Central Energy Plant capacity was increased. A new five story Medical Office Building was added connected by an Atrium with the new Clinic. The existing hospital areas vacated into the addition were then renovated- all while keeping the main Columbus, Georgia hospital up and running. Equipment included a new 800-ton centrifugal chiller, a heat pump chiller, ten centrifugal pumps, two cooling towers, seven custom AHUs, three DOAS units, and 480 terminal units.
